Hi, everyone! I’m Tanner Prewitt, and I am your SHC Vice President. I come from a small town in southern Indiana called Seymour. We’re known for our cornfields and Oktoberfest. Everyone knows everyone in Seymour, so I’ve made it my mission to get to know each of our members as best as I can. If you have questions about SHC, about the Honors College, or about Ball State in general, don’t hesitate to ask!
A professor once told me that in life, I should have a trinity of things I’m passionate about. The first is food, and there are tons of amazing restaurants in Muncie. From burgers at Savage’s Alehouse downtown, to chips and salsa at Puerta’s, and then a macchiato at Starbucks, I know the best places to go. Second, I’m passionate about art and design. I’m a fourth-year landscape architecture major in the College of Architecture and Planning (CAP). This has allowed me to learn more about the natural world, our impact on it, and what we can do to design for the future. My third passion is also connected to CAP. I love to travel, and CAP’s field trip weeks have allowed me to explore various parts of the U.S., and the world.
